Leeds United: Fans gush at Ben White’s engagement with young supporter

Many Leeds United fans have reacted to a piece of footage which shows Ben White sending a message to a young fan.

On-loan defender White has had a superb season at Elland Road, providing a key defensive option for Marcelo Bielsa which has helped the Whites sit top of the Championship. Having arrived from Brighton and Hove Albion, the young centre-back immediately found form at Leeds and became a regular starter at the club, featuring in 37 games this term.

With football at a standstill and the possibility of the Championship not returning, White could have played his last game for the club as he is due to return to Brighton this summer. The youngster has been linked with a number of clubs over the last few months, including European champions and soon-to-be Premier League champions Liverpool.
