Leeds United: Fans frustrated with Marcelo Bielsa’s update on Kalvin Phillips’ injury

Plenty of Leeds United fans have been left frustrated after they received an update on Kalvin Phillips in the aftermath of their narrow win over Middlesbrough.

According to Marcelo Bielsa (per Leeds Live), the £9.9m-rated (as per Transfermarkt) Englishman remains a doubt for Saturday’s clash against Hull City. The Argentine didn’t stop there with the bad news as he went on to confirm that Jean-Kevin Augustin is definitely out for the fixture against the Tigers, which had left some fans venting their fury earlier.

Phillips had only just returned for the Yorkshire outfit following his red card in the loss away to Queens Park Rangers. The uncertainty over his fitness will be a bitter blow to Bielsa especially after his performances against Brentford and Bristol City.
