Leeds United: Fans voice doubts over move for Southampton’s Che Adams

Leeds United fans have been voicing their doubts after the club were linked with a move for the struggling Southampton forward Che Adams.

According to Football Insider, the Whites have registered their interest in the 23-year-old after Marcelo Bielsa gave the club a ‘green light’.

Former Whites defender Danny Mills gave his opinions on a potential move, claiming it would be a good transfer due to Adams’ ‘proven’ track record in the Championship.

Adams has been struggling with the south coast club following his £15m move to St. Mary’s Stadium last summer (via BBC).

He’s scored no goals despite featuring in move than 15 games across the Premier League and Carabao Cup (via Transfermarkt).

However, he does have a brilliant record in the second-tier of English football, having scored 34 goals and assisted a further 13 in over 100 games for former club Birmingham City.

Fans were in disbelief over the potential move as they took to Twitter to react to links with Adams.
