With large parts of London headed for tier 3 regulations, per BBC, only four Premier League sides are now able to allow fans into their stadiums. However, the latest reports suggests that Leeds United could be welcoming 2,000 fans back very soon.
The latest update on fans back at Elland Road
Political editor Paul Waugh reported that Matt Hancock all but confirmed that Leeds will go into tier two. He said: ‘Very, very strong hint that would happen.’
Journalist for The Athletic, Phil Hay, shared the “good news” on Twitter and fans of Marcelo Bielsa’s side will now surely be absolutely ecstatic.

The club have not been able to enjoy their promotion or the start of their return to the Premier League with the loyal supporters yet. Therefore, one would expect the 2,000 fans allowed back into the ground, if and when it happens, to make an incredible atmosphere.

Last weekend, apart from Arsenal, who went down to ten men, all the sides in the division who had home support managed to pick up positive results. This included Fulham drawing with Liverpool, and Crystal Palace drawing with Tottenham Hotspur.
In their last five games, Leeds have only won one (SofaScore), and so the added support at their home games should be exactly what is needed to boost Bielsa and the squad to turn their form around.
