The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern were concerned when they heard the news from Jose Mourinho that he was facing a bit of a selection headache ahead of their side’s clash with Sevilla.
That would have been a huge blow for Mourinho. Pogba, who missed the Red Devils’ last game, has been crucial for them this season, and whilst his recent form hasn’t been great, the Frenchman can still put in an incredible display when needed.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic – who has been out of action throughout 2018 so far – is vastly experienced in Europe, and that could be key for Mourinho’s team as they look to progress. After all, much of the rest of his squad is lacking top-tier experience in that regard.
Ander Herrera hasn’t played as often as he would have liked this term, but Mourinho’s squad depth is minimal at best, and so he still has a role to play.
Collectively, then, Man Utd fans weren’t feeling too confident when this news emerged.
You can imagine the delight, then, when the aforementioned trio were spotted in training ahead of the game. ESPN journalist Rob Dawson had previously noted on Twitter that they had trained, but that was later confirmed by pictures posted online by the official Man Utd Twitter page.

Though not quite confirmation that they are fit to play, it does seem clear that they are edging closer to that end, and so unsurprisingly, the Man Utd fans over on Twitter have responded to the pictures with pure delight having all recognised who they are looking at.
They can’t wait to see if any of the trio are going to feature on Wednesday…
