The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are enjoying the steady progress that their side is had this term…
It’s been a very solid and efficient start to the season for the Red Devils, with Jose Mourinho’s side looking good value for a Premier League title challenge.
They currently sit at the top of the table, joint with Man City, and so things are looking very good indeed.
They’ll need to keep pace with their title rivals, though, and with the Citizens facing Chelsea this weekend – a Man Utd win offers a great chance for the club to get ahead of one, or indeed both, of these teams.
As such, Mourinho can’t take this game lightly, and whilst they’ll be favourites for the clash, he needs to ensure that a victory comes his way.
With that said, Mourinho should drop these 2 Man Utd players against Crystal Palace today – agreed?
Victor Lindelof

Victor Lindelof looked decent in the week, but it’s clear that he still isn’t the finished article.
Jose Mourinho seems to be giving him the ‘Henrikh Mkhitaryan treatment’ this season, with a slow transition into first-team duties on the cards.
That should see him return to the bench on Saturday, with the club likely to revert back to a four-man defence.
With Phil Jones unlikely to feature, it’s Lindelof’s defensive partner – Chris Smalling – who is likely to keep his place. The Englishman, after all, is far more experienced than Lindelof.
Ashley Young

Ashley Young has proven this season, as he did last year, that he is a solid squad option – but he shouldn’t be a regular starter for Mourinho.
It appears as though he came in just to freshen things up in the Champions League, and so a return to the bench is likely to follow.
Antonio Valencia has impressed this term, and it appears as though his non-inclusion earlier this week was just to give him a rest after playing a lot of football.
