Not long to go: 2 key transfers West Ham must seal before the window closes

There’s a fair few happy Hammers about at the moment here in the Transfer Tavern.

Another win yesterday for West Ham away at Middlesbrough has seen the club move up the table once more, with in form striker Andy Carroll once again hitting the back of the net.

The situation around Dimitri Payet has seemingly had a positive effect on the squad on the whole, with results since the Payet saga beginning to unfold improving week by week.

Talk over at our pool table though here in the Tavern has been around who Slaven Bilic might try and swoop for in the final week of the January transfer window.

It’s clear he could do with strengthening his team, so with that in mind, here are TWO key transfers West Ham must look to seal before the end of the window…

Scott Hogan

The ongoing will he won’t he sign saga around Scott Hogan has been going on for nearly the entire window, and West Ham could do with sealing it ASAP.

The in form Brentford striker has a high price on his head, but he will no doubt be worth every penny should he move, and could well take the pressure of Andy Carroll’s shoulders.

Hogan is a top striker, and should flourish in the Premier League.

Thorgan Hazard

The brother of Premier League star Eden is turning into a top class player in his own right, and a move to the Premier League could well be on the cards.

Hazard has tremendous ability on the ball and is a threat going forward with both goals and assists in abundance over the last 12 months.

He could be a superb signing and it would send out a big message to the rest of the league if they were to seal a deal for him.
