Southampton fans here in the Tavern continue to drink away their sorrows, as their sixth season in the Premier League is looking like being their last.
Mauricio Pellegrino’s side have been looking worse for wear over the course of the current campaign, as a lack of potency in the final-third goes hand in hand with their defensive woes.
Indeed, after seeing their star player Virgil Van Dijk leave the club as the world’s most expensive defender, the large lump of money received for the Dutchman holds the key to Southampton’s future in the Premier League.
However, it’s been the manager that’s had the majority of the blame placed on his shoulders, as he continues to pull off the worst win record by any Southampton manager who’s over 10 games into a Premier League season.
Therefore, this surely can’t be tolerated much longer as their next couple of fixtures could see the Argentine enjoy his last couple of weeks in charge at St Mary’s.
Nevertheless, with the Saints’ Twitter account taking to notifying fans of the club shop closing down for a stock take, it becomes ironic with a lackluster manager looking like his sell by date is soon to expire at St Mary’s.
#SaintsFC's stores will be closed tomorrow for a stock take. Full details here: https://t.co/DxX1sPr6XB

Following the club’s post, fans had some rather harsh things to say about their current manager, as they look to voice their opinion on the current troubles down on the south coast.
So without further ado, here’s a look at the kind of reaction supporters gave off on social media…
Out of stock: decent manager. Order new manager.

The managers stock is at an all time low you don’t need to close the club shop to figure that out
