The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are loving the moves that Jose Mourinho has already made at Old Trafford this summer. He’s made a number of huge deals come to fruition since his arrival at Old Trafford, with a flurry of big names joining over the years.
Last season wasn’t quite what fans were hoping for, and so unsurprisingly, they were hoping that more big names would join this summer too.
That’s exactly what they’ve got, so far at least, with both Fred and Diogo Dalot already moving to Old Trafford. They’ve ticked a lot of boxes for the Red Devils, but Mourinho isn’t done yet, it seems.
Bonucci hasn’t had the best season, but the Italian’s record speaks for itself, whilst Man Utd’s problems at the back are evident.
Unsurprisingly, then, the Man Utd fans over on Twitter are pretty pleased with the news. Many are viewing him as the perfect target.

Unlikely to happy but would definitely take Bonucci. If fit he could do a job for a year or two whilst Bailly, Lindelof & maybe Tuanzebe continue their development. He’s experienced, has a winning mentality, right footer that’s comfortable on the left, a leader.
