Though Garry Monk’s departure threatened to rock the Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern for months, many of our resident Whites are excited about the new campaign.
Life under Thomas Christiansen has been relatively enjoyable thus far. Granted, his tenure at Elland Road is in its very early stages, though the punters propping up the bar have today received some very good news indeed.
In fact, it really has gone down a storm in the bar.
Defender Giuseppe Bellusci has seen his deal in Yorkshire terminated after spending last season on loan with Serie A side Empoli, much to the delight of our local Leeds lot. The Italian wasn’t the most popular figure at the club and wholly indicative of the type signings during most of Massimo Cellino’s era.
