The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to their next Premier League game this weekend…
It’s been a decent start to the season for the Lilywhites, though their last Premier League game wasn’t too impressive.
They were unable to beat Paul Clement’s Swansea City last time out, and in truth, the performance simply wasn’t good enough to warrant a victory against the Welsh side.
A similar result will not be tolerated this weekend, and the game is only going to pose more of a challenge with a tough derby against West Ham on the cards.
The Hammers are a side on the up, and so whilst Tottenham will be favourites, Pochettino will need to get his team selection spot on. Looking back at the Swansea game, there were a couple of players that didn’t look particularly sharp, and so Pochettino may need to make a few big calls.
With that said, Pochettino should drop these 2 Tottenham players against West Ham today – agreed?
Moussa Sissoko

Moussa Sissoko has had a disappointing spell at White Hart Lane, and he wasn’t particularly great against Swansea City either.
He was decent, as he often is, but Pochettino needs players that can wow the Wembley audience on regular basis, and the Frenchman simply doesn’t have the X-factor.
It’s probably time to bring someone else in for a chance in the middle of the park, and that will mean Sissoko will be back on the bench.
Kieran Trippier

Kieran Trippier hasn’t done anything wrong, but he also hasn’t done anything particularly right, and that’s his problem.
Simply put, he is a very unexceptional player, and whilst he is a decent replacement for Kyle Walker, he isn’t a long-term solution for the Lilywhites.
Serge Aurier is now fully fit and ready, and he has looked good in recent weeks when called upon. Time for Pochettino to give him the start he needs.
