Fulham offer escape route to Beasley

beasleyFulham are interested in a January transfer swoop for American winger DaMarcus Beasley who’s currently on the books at SPL giants Rangers to boost their underachieving squad. The Cottagers have been low on quality wide players and will hope Beasley can become the solution to their problems.

Beasley joined Rangers from PSV Eindhoven for a fee of £700,000 in 2007 and the 27 year old has enjoyed a degree of success with Rangers but finds himself out of favour this season, a situation he doesn’t want to be in with the World Cup coming up this summer. Beasley told The Daily Mirror

“My current situation is not ideal. It’s been frustrating. I’m looking to move because I want to play. It’s not that I am not happy at the club, I just want to play”

Should Beasley make the move to Craven Cottage he would not be a guaranteed starter though with summer signing Damien Duff having impressed on the left wing for Fulham this season but the move could re-ignite the stalling career of one of America’s most exciting players.

Beasley already has Premiership experience having played for Man City on loan before his move to Rangers developed.
