West Ham United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be pleased with how their summer has gone so far but will still be expecting the club to make a few more additions.
Manuel Pellegrini has already bolstered his defensive areas with a goalkeeper and a couple of defenders, however, it is thought that he is still keen on adding players in the midfield and attacking areas of his squad.
The Hammers have been linked with a number of names since the manager arrived during the summer and according to reports made in The Sun, he could be about to bring one of them to the London Stadium.
It is believed he had a strong chance of heading to Turkey with Fenerbahce, however, it now appears that he is more than happy to remain in the Premier League and fight for his England place once again.
Landlord’s Verdict
The West Ham fans in the Tavern will be delighted with the possibility of Wilshere joining up with them this summer, as he would certainly improve the midfield immediately.
There has been concerns with the 26-year-old’s injury proneness, however, he did manage to make 38 appearances for the Gunners last season and many of the locals will hope that those days are behind him.
