West Ham United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be pleased with the club’s summer work with regards to their recruitment drive and will be hopeful for a few more additions.
Manuel Pellegrini has been busy trying to make his side as strong as possible as they look to become competitive and compete for a place within European football next season.
The former Manchester City manager has already made a handful of signings this summer, however, according to reports in Italy, he could be on the verge of getting one of his most drawn-out sagas finally over the line.
It is believed the two clubs are looking to conclude a deal around the 31million euro mark, with an additional 5million worth of bonuses to be paid should the 25-year-old make a certain number of appearances for the Irons.
The Verdict:

The deal is one of the most drawn-out transfers this summer and has looked unlikely at times to be completed. However, the fact that the two clubs have now reopened talks about a move could be the final push needed for the transfer to be concluded and comes at a lower price than West Ham were initially told to pay.
Anderson would be a smart signing for the Hammers this summer, as he and Jack Wilshere would work well together in the middle of the park and would be a huge upgrade to what the club had during their disappointing campaign last season.
