Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are tearing their hair out at the moment with them precariously close to the drop zone.
The Hammers have been poor all season and, though they did look at least relatively safe about six games ago, they really are in trouble now.
Indeed, whilst the likes of Hull, Crystal Palace and Leicester have rallied the Hammers have been sleep-walking and if they’re not careful they’re going to be waking up in the Championship.
It’s been a sorry season, then, and after another abject performance last night against Arsenal the men from east London really do look at their lowest point of the year.
Certainly, that mood has been reflected by the fan-base, too, who, after David Gold posted a link to a post-match Mark Noble interview, were quick to let him know just how they felt.
