Everton are progressing nicely under Ronald Koeman, sitting in sixth place in the Premier League table at the time of writing and playing some decent stuff.

Romelu Lukaku has led the way for the Toffees this season with a string of excellent performances, but he has also been aided by some top quality young guns at Goodison.

The likes of Tom Davies and Dom Calvert-Lewin have played their part this season, and the Everton fans here in the Tavern have been loving watching the youngsters perform.

Our landlord has been chatting with some of the Toffees fans over at the jukebox this week though, and they seem adamant there are further names in the youth ranks who could make the grade soon.
With this in mind, we have taken a look at TWO young Everton stars who fans should be keeping an eye out for…

Jonjoe Kenny

Young defender Kenny is not someone many outside of Goodison will be aware of, but hardcore fans will be aware he is highly rated by the club.

At 20, he has plenty of time to work alongside some of the experienced defenders at the club, and Kenny should have an excellent career ahead of him if he keeps progressing.

Kieran Dowell

19-year-old midfielder Dowell is one of the hottest young stars outside of the first team at Everton, and his goals from midfield have caught the eye of coaching staff already.

Dowell must fancy his chances of breaking into the team under Ronald Koeman, and will look to the likes of Tom Davies and Dom Calvert-Lewin as a source of inspiration.
