Our Tottenham fans here in the Transfer Tavern have not been too impressed with what they have seen from their side so far this season.
Indeed, though they won their first game of the campaign they have since lost to Chelsea and drawn with Burnley at Wembley and the talk around the club is of the curse that the national stadium has over the club.
Naturally, then, there’s some angst about the club right now and it’s not been helped by a real dearth of signings this summer with us now under two days away from Deadline Day.
And, whilst we wait to see if anyone else arrives at the club it has been confirmed that Kevin Wimmer has left the side to join Stoke.
