The FA Cup fourth-round draw took place yesterday, and it is fair to say that some Southampton fans are quite pleased with the outcome.
The south coast club were given a home tie versus either Middlesbrough or Tottenham, who have to play a third-round replay following their 1-1 draw at the Riverside.

Currently sixth in the Premier League table and managed by an elite coach like Jose Mourinho, you could not blame anyone for making Tottenham favourites for the fourth round should they get there. After all, this is a side who made it all the way to the Champions League final last season.
However, some Southampton fans really fancy their club’s chances, be it Boro or Spurs who make the trip down to St. Mary’s, and it is not hard to see why.
It was only New Year’s Day when Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men managed to down Mourinho’s team in a 1-0 win, courtesy of Danny Ings. Meanwhile, Middlesbrough have struggled for consistency, finding themselves 16th in the Championship with a record of eight wins, nine draws and nine defeats.
