Ahead of what is likely to be a fiercely contested Europa League clash on Thursday night, the Southampton fans in the Transfer Tavern fancy their chances against Inter Milan even more so than usual.
The south coast outfit face the Italian giants at St. Mary’s on Thursday in their latest group game after losing 1-0 in the San Siro, a result they felt hard-done by, though reports from Sky Sports have added an extra bit of spice.
They’ve confirmed that the Nerazzurri have axed manager Frank De Boer after just THREE months in charge of the Serie A titans.
The Dutchman was only appointed in the summer by Inter to replace Roberto Mancini but has endured a tough start to the campaign with the club twelfth in Serie A and the fans turning on captain Mauro Icardi.
