Loads of Tottenham Hotspur fans have made a transfer demand to sign Edinson Cavani after a Twitter post from The Spurs Web asked supporters who they would take from players that are out of contract in the summer.
Lots of fans turned to Cavani, who the north London club have been linked with before. According to The Telegraph, Jose Mourinho was a big admirer of the Uruguayan international but Daniel Levy did not want to break the club’s wage structure.
Still, Cavani would still arguably offer other qualities that may help take the burden off Harry Kane for next season. After all, the Uruguayan has scored 341 goals in 556 club appearances and has also notched up 50 strikes for his country, as per Transfermarkt.

With that in mind, the South American’s goal scoring record over his long career across a number of leagues and competitions may suggest that he would be a decent signing for Spurs despite his age, and these supporters certainly think that he is the man to bring in:
