Surely Moyes must urge Gold and Sullivan to bring these 2 stars to West Ham this summer

West Ham United fans here in the Tavern are bitterly disappointed after suffering a crushing defeat at the weekend, as the Hammers are now only three points off the dreaded relegation zone.

David Moyes has been superb since taking over as the club’s manager back in November of last year, after lifting the Hammers out of the relegation places and clear of trouble. Although, many of our local residents are still worried about their future in the Premier League, as Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at the hands of Burnley caused for ugly and toxic scenes at the London Stadium.

However, the Hammers must now look to keep their faith in David Moyes and his backroom staff, as the Scotsman will look to improve on things in the summer months after securing Premier League safety. Indeed, West Ham United are desperate to add quality to their ranks in the transfer window, with a lack of goals and defensive issues constantly halting the London club’s progress.

Therefore, here’s a look at TWO stars that Moyes should urge David Gold and David Sullivan to bring to the London Stadium this summer…

Mariano Díaz Mejía

Mariano Diaz has established himself as one of the most exciting talents in the French Ligue 1 so far this season, with 18 goals to his name for current club Olympique Lyonnais.

Indeed, the 24-year-old offers you brute strength, an incredible eye for goal, pace and trickery as a well-rounded centre-forward, with many of our local residents calling out for the club to sign the Spanish-born marksman.

Therefore, Moyes should urge Gold and Sullivan to bring the striker to the London Stadium in the summer, as a direct replacement for the ineffective Javier Hernandez.

Kurt Zouma

Kurt Zouma is currently playing his football for Stoke City after joining from Chelsea on a season-long loan deal, and has been one of the Potters’ star men in what’s turned out to be a terrific campaign for the Frenchman.

Indeed, the 23-year-old has certainly played his part in Stoke City’s survival bid after delivering consistent performances at the back, with very few strikers winning a foot race against the accomplished defender.

Therefore, the Hammers could benefit from Zouma in their side as the Premier League’s worst defensive team, with a loan or permanent deal looking likely in the summer transfer window.
