Our Swansea City fans here in the Transfer Tavern want to see Paul Clement acting in this window and have been buoyed by his words, to Sky Sports News HQ, over Luciano Narsingh.
The former Bayern Munich coach has only recently been appointed Swans boss, their third of the season, with the single task of trying to keep them in the top flight.
He was at Selhurst Park to see them beat Crystal Palace last time out, too, and so will have seen that there is something to be built on at the club.
It looks as though, possibly, that he may try to do just that with the Dutchman, Narsingh.
Clement said of the player:
“He is a player we are aware of but no decisions have been made on ins or outs.
“When we played against him with Bayern, he scored in the game in Holland. We are aware of his talent but nothing more than that at the moment.”
The Swans have been linked with Narsingh in recent times with Wales Online reporting that the club have a deal in place just waiting on Clement’s approval.
The new boss’ words suggest that that is a little wide of the mark for now, though, even if if does appear that he does like the player and his ability.
Our landlord reckons the club should go for it, as they need to try something to get out of trouble.
