Indeed, with the form the Hammers are in that really doesn’t look like a big enough gap and so Slaven Bilic needs to start changing things around before it becomes too late.
That could start with a win against Arsenal, who are hardly in fine shape themselves, but it looks as though the injury woes are going to continue ahead of that game – and for the foreseeable future.
Indeed, Diafra Sakho remains stricken and it really does remain to be seen if he’ll return by the end of the campaign.
After being asked on Twitter what was going on, then, David Gold duly replied to say he should be on the bench soon but West Ham fans weren’t really having that.
