It’s been a fantastic day for the Spurs fans here in the Tavern after they overcame bitter rivals Arsenal in a comprehensive 2-0 win at White Hart Lane!
Spurs outplayed Arsenal from start to finish and once again, the gulf in quality between the two sides was clear for all to see.
Strikes from Dele Alli and Harry Kane gave Spurs the win and our Arsenal-mad barman here in the pub is absolutely gutted with yet another spineless display from his team!
In honesty, it could have been worse for Arsenal had Alexis Sanchez been penalised for a handball decision but no penalty was awarded. It did little to dampen the atmosphere amongst the Spurs fans, who were absolutely loving life throughout the match!
And as you can imagine, the fallout online has been huge, especially considering this will be the first time in over 20 years Tottenham have finished above their bitter rivals.
