Spurs really do show faith in young players and their fans here in the Transfer Tavern are very excited about where that faith could take them this season.
With young players like Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Eric Dier already looking like seasoned Premier League professionals despite their ages, they really could only get better and that would prove devastating for the rest of the league.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men look like title challengers once again this season and it seems as though their immediate future is looking bright.
But, what about the next five years? Spurs are looking good now but can they bring through more players to help supplement this current crop?

Marcus Edwards
Edwards is one of the most exciting players to come through the Spurs youth system in a while so that tells you all you need to know.
He’s very adept at playing in the attacking areas and has a keen eye for both a pass and the goal.
It really shouldn’t be too long until he gets his full senior debut with the Lilywhites, so the fans can see exactly what he is all about.
Cameron Carter-Vickers
The defender is working his way up both at Spurs and with the United States.
Although from Southend, he looks like he wants to represent the Americans and they’ll certainly be happy about that because he looks like a great prospect.
Quick, strong and aggressive in the challenge he very rarely gets bullied which is vital for a Premier League centre-half.
Definitely one to watch.
Kyle Walker-Peters
He has the name to suggest he’s going to make it at Spurs.
Name aside he, like Kyle Walker, plays as a full-back and was a mainstay in the Spurs under-21 side last season.
He’s played for England in the younger ranks and looks as though he’ll make his first team breakthrough in the near future.
Mauricio Pochettino is seemingly a big fan of flying full-backs and Walker-Peters fits the bill.
