West Brom fell to a late Yanic Wildschut goal as they suffered a defeat at the hands of Bolton Wanderers in their opening game of the Championship season.
Following their relegation from the Premier League last time out, the Baggies have seen many of their stars leave the club this summer and yet more could still depart before the transfer window closes.
The squad at the Hawthorns looked thin already, but this early defeat has only served to provoke the ire of some West Brom fans who feel the club should have already made more signings this summer.
The arrivals of Kyle Bartley, Sam Johnstone and Conor Townsend, amongst others, aren’t considered to be enough by these Baggies fans.
If Darren Moore is to guide West Brom back to the top flight at the first time of asking, then further recruitment looks necessary. These supporters are desperate to see some incoming deals done before things get even worse.
Here is a look at what some West Brom fans were saying on Twitter about the need for new faces in the aftermath of the first fixture loss.

@DarrenMooro You said you wanted / expected another one or two to come in. I would recount mate. Based on today we need at least another four who are actually half decent and can hit the ground running because today was an embarrassment #wba @WBA

Marcus Maddison. Reportedly has £2.5m release clause. £2m from Rondon's loan to Newcastle. Get it done Moore #WBA

If Rondon is on his way then hopefully we get Gayle in return. Still need some creativity in midfield as well though #wba
