According to this, since his last start for the north London club, Emmanuel Adebayor has managed to make a huge £3.4 million in wages.
Now as one of our punters quips over by the bar, there will be no goal scoring or performance related bonuses in that, but the fact that he can make that through his wages alone is simply mind boggling – although as our landlord reminds us, the forward is the absolute master at getting money and doing absolutely nothing unless it is contract renewal year.
