Loads of Tottenham fans are furious at the performance of Christian Eriksen in Saturday’s defeat to Liverpool, as the Denmark international was booed off the pitch in north London.
Spurs were extremely unlucky against Liverpool on Saturday evening, as Roberto Firmino’s first-half strike gave the visitors a 1-0 win, taking their astonishing points total to 61 out of a possible 63.
Japhet Tanganga shone on his Premier League debut while Giovani Lo Celso injected some real life into the second half with his performance off the bench, although the Argentina star missed a golden chance to level the scores.
Eriksen however received an extremely harsh reaction from the home support when he was substituted in the 69th minute, as the statistics show he actually put in a decent shift.
Per Sofascore, the 27 year-old was the third highest-rated Tottenham player after Tanganga and Paulo Gazzaniga, as he made four clearances and completed four key passes.
