Lots of Tottenham fans were unhappy with comments made by defender Toby Alderweireld.
Before today’s Premier League encounter with Wolves at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the 30-year-old was looking forward to the future following the arrival of Jose Mourinho in place of the previous manager Mauricio Pochettino. He told the Daily Mail that the supporters will see the “real Tottenham” and that they should be feeling optimistic as they are fighting for a top-four place.
Daniel Levy took the difficult decision to let the Argentinian manager go despite reaching last season’s Champions League final. But supporters are not enjoying the style of football that the Portuguese tactician is implementing, making their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that it is “unacceptable” for Spurs to be in the current situation that they find themselves in.
