There isn’t a Tottenham fan alive who hasn’t at least once had a go at Moussa Sissoko. The Frenchman signed from Newcastle for £30 million back in summer 2016 and almost everyone in N17 regrets the decision to sign the 28-year-old flop. Now though, according to Football Whispers, the Frenchman could be on his way to Wolves.

Sissoko has never really been what Spurs have needed. The nonchalant midfielder has the versatility and the frame to fit in as a Mauricio Pochettino player. However, with a lack of effort, poor mentality and the fact that he’s just not good enough for Tottenham Hotspur, it’s now become apparent that Sissoko will never work at Spurs, although for Pochettino, Daniel Levy and the fans, hindsight is a wonderful thing.
If the midfielder does end up at Wolves next season it’s sod’s law that he’ll probably end up finding the net against the Lilywhites, although for Spurs that hasn’t been an issue with him scoring against the Magpies. If Tottenham can gain back even a fraction of the fee they forked out for Sissoko back in 2016 then it will go down as a great piece of business as the funds and wages made available will no doubt be put to better use this time around.
