Tottenham supporters have been in fine voice in recent times after seeing their side keep their Champions League hopes alive following victory on Tuesday night.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men went into their clash with Dutch outfit PSV Eindhoven at Wembley having picked up just one point from their first three matches, and thus in need of all three points at the national stadium on Tuesday night. Things didn’t look good for Spurs though when Luuk De Jong gave the visitors the lead, but the North Londoners got the win they so desperately needed as two Harry Kane efforts in the second half sealed a 2-1 success for Pochettino’s side, thus moving them to within three points of second place Inter Milan in Group B.
Thus, there have been many thrilled Tottenham fans up and down the country in recent times, several of whom have taken to Twitter to rave about the efforts of midfielder Harry Winks on Tuesday night.
The England international has struggled with injury for much of the last 12 months but appears to be nearing his best form once again, with Tuesday night’s start his second in the Champions League this term, and eighth in all competitions this season.
And the 22-year-old produced a midfield masterclass to help Pochettino’s side get the three points they needed to keep their Champions League hopes alive, a masterclass which was raved about by plenty of Spurs fans on Twitter…
