Tottenham Hotspur fans are calling for Jose Mourinho to be Mauricio Pochettino’s replacement should the Argentine leave the club.
Pochettino has endured an extremely tough start to the new season, which took a turn for the worse last night. Spurs lost on penalties to League Two side Colchester United after being held to a 0-0 draw over 90 minutes (via BBC).
The loss last night follows on from a less than positive start in the Premier League and Champions League for the north London side. The Lilywhites had won just two of their first seven games of the season before last night, as well as having lost the lead in three of their last four games (via WhoScored).
Pochettino increased speculation over his own future at the club after revealing that he could manage Real Madrid in the future (via The Independent).
After all these problems at the start of the season, fans took to Twitter to call for Mourinho as Pochettino’s replacement.
