Tottenham Hotspur were held to a 2-2 draw on Sunday as they contested the first north London derby of the Premier League season.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side managed to take a two-goal lead through efforts from Christian Eriksen and a Harry Kane penalty, however Alexandre Lacazette managed to pull one back just before the half-time whistle (Sky Sports).
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang levelled the match with 20 minutes to go, although Spurs certainly had the opportunities to try and take all three points from the Emirates Stadium before heading into the upcoming international break.
As has become the norm in the modern era, fans took to Twitter following the conclusion of the match to share their thoughts about the game and it seems one man appeared to attract plenty of plaudits for his performance.
Harry Winks earned rave reviews for his display, with Football London handing him a score of nine writing: “Worked so hard and his pressing was excellent, particularly in winning the ball for Spurs to win their penalty in the first half. If it wasn’t for Lloris’ saves he’d have been the standout Spurs player by a long way.”
Fans were just as complimentary with their opinions of his performance on the social media outlet, with many of them sharing positive reactions.

Aurier + Davies have to start vs Palace. Rose poor again. Felt sorry for Sanchez, well out of his depth from first minute. Jan sloppy. Winks worked his socks off, my MOTM. Front 4 needed to be more decisive with final ball/decision. Harry struggled but nearly an unreal winner.

I’m feeling more positive than most people on my timeline. Yes we conceded a two goal lead but they were so good as an attacking threat and had momentum being at home. We did look defensively shaky at times but then at others looked calm and resilient. Son + Winks both fab #COYS
