Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur fans are drooling over journalist Alasdair Gold’s throwback tweet of the north London club’s first game at their new stadium.
The post included footage of the atmosphere as Spurs supporters filled up the stadium for their Premier League game against Crystal Palace.
The Lilywhites won the game 2-0 through goals from Heung-Min Son and the now-departed Christian Eriksen, as per the BBC. That moved Tottenham above their arch-rivals Arsenal into third place, and the result eventually helped them secure Champions League qualification for this season.
It was a dominating performance based off the stats provided by the BBC, as they attained 65 per cent of the ball, had 26 shots on goal (of those 10 were on target), and also managed eight corners, all figures more than the Eagles on the day.

With the Premier League this campaign being postponed until at least April 30th, it gave an opportunity for supporters to reminisce back to a happy memory.
