Tottenham Hotspur winger Jack Clarke has completed a loan move to Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers (via @SpursOfficial).
The 19-year-old joined Spurs from Leeds United in the summer, but was immediately loaned back to the West Yorkshire outfit to continue his development. However, he rarely featured under Marcelo Bielsa this season, playing just once in the Championship (Transfermarkt) and as a consequence, he was recalled.
He now has another opportunity to get minutes under his belt in the second tier at QPR, where he has agreed a deal until the end of the season. He will hope to impress at Loftus Road and catch the eye of Jose Mourinho, who of course wasn’t the manager who brought him to Spurs as he was a Mauricio Pochettino signing.
Most Spurs fans feel that this is a good move for Clarke as long as he receives plenty of game time, with several taking to Twitter to wish him luck for his few months in west London.
Here is what some had to say…
Good luck @JackClarke09 hopefully you actually get some playing time this go around 🙌🏻

Really hoping Jack plays a lot of games and does well for QPR. Such a shame he’s stagnated at Leeds as it seemed like going back there would be where he’d get most games

Great move for him learning under Warburton and he will get plenty of games.

Mark Warburton has now added Jack Clarke to his decent QPR side.
He’s given Amos a good amount of minutes, so let’s hope Clarke gets that too!
Great manager to be under – let’s hope for a strong loan spell. pic.twitter.com/kd9jYbfxEW
