Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic has refused to rule out a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window.
The Serbian international has barely featured at Old Trafford this season due to both injury and being out of favour, playing just three times in the Premier League (Transfermarkt).
As a result he has been linked with a move away and Bleacher Report recently claimed that a transfer to Spurs could be a possibility.
With his former manager Jose Mourinho now in charge at the north London club it perhaps wouldn’t be a surprise to see the 31-year-old join them and in a recent interview he refused to rule it out.
Indeed when asked whether he could reunite with the Portuguese, Matic responded by simply saying: “you never know what is going to happen in life,” (SPORF).
However, it seems that most Spurs fans would not want their club to sign the former Chelsea man, with some suggesting that he is past his best and that it would be a backwards step.
