Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted to a Twitter post from Spurs journalist Alasdair Gold which showed Jan Vertonghen with shorter hair than normal.
The Belgian international has averaged 5.8 total duels won in the Premier League this season, including 3.2 ground and 2.6 aerial, 2.9 clearances, 2.1 tackles and 1.6 interceptions, according to Sofascore.
As football in the top flight has been postponed until later next month because of the pandemic outbreak, it seems as if Vertonghen has found another way to occupy his time by getting his hair cut extremely short.
Many Spurs supporters chipped in with various footballers and celebrities that the 32-year old looked like with his new trim, with a couple of fans referencing Christian Ziege. The German international played 54 times for the north London club in all competitions between 2001-04, scoring 11 goals and providing four assists, as per Transfermarkt.
