Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Everton right-back Jonjoe Kenny, that is according to a report from the Daily Mail.

The 22-year-old is currently out on loan at Schalke but he has been playing well in the Bundesliga, helping the team to four clean sheets whilst also scoring one goal and providing two assists (Transfermarkt).
And according to the report, his impressive performances have attracted the interest of Spurs, whilst their north London rivals Arsenal are also thought to be keen.
Tottenham could definitely do with a new right-back, with Serge Aurier having failed to impress this term. Indeed, on average this season he loses possession 16.3 times per game, he wins just 52.9% of his aerial duels and he has given away one penalty (SofaScore).
However, quite a few Spurs fans do not think that Kenny would be the answer to their right-back problem and several have taken to Twitter to urge the club not to sign the Everton man.
