Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho would be interested in signing Valencia midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia in the summer transfer window, that is according to a report from Plaza Deportivo (via The Spurs Web).
It is suggested that the 27-year-old has a strong chance of leaving the Spanish club in the off-season for a move to the Premier League, with the La Liga outfit set to study all offers once the current campaign is done.
The £20.25-valued ace has been a regular for Valencia this season, starting 21 games across all competitions either side of a couple of injuries (Transfermarkt). He has also represented AS Monaco, Inter Milan, Sevilla and RC Lens in his club career to date.
It seems that quite a few Spurs fans would like to see the Central African Republic international join the club, with many taking to Twitter to express their thoughts. One supporter even suggested that having Kondogbia alongside Tanguy Ndombele would be similar to when the club had Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele in midfield in their prime.
