Loads of Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been reflecting about Tom Huddlestone’s time at the club after The Spurs Web posted a highlights reel of the midfielder’s career in north London.
The 33-year-old spent eight years at White Hart Lane between 2005-13, racking up a total of 209 appearances in that time whilst contributing with 16 goals and 30 assists (Transfermarkt).
He certainly impressed many during his time at Tottenham, including Fabio Capello who gave him four England caps including a start against Japan in 2010 (Transfermarkt).
Huddlestone was well known for his exceptional passing ability, which can be highlighted by the fact that in his most recent Premier League seuason (16/17 with Hull) he averaged 32.7 accurate passes per game, including 15.5 in the opposition half (SofaScore).
After seeing his highlights on The Spurs Web’s feed, many Tottenham fans have been reminiscing about the midfielder with most having fond memories of his time at the club. One even described him as ‘unreal on his day‘ whilst another suggested he was their best passer since Glenn Hoddle.
