Tottenham Hotspur fans were left thrilled after attacker Heung-Min Son was nominated for the Ballon d’Or.

The South Korean attacker has enjoyed a brilliant 2019 after he helped Spurs reach their first-ever Champions League final.
Son played a key part in the 4-4 aggregate draw over Champions Manchester City, scoring the only goal of the 1-0 win in the first leg as well as a brace in the opening 10 minutes of the second leg (via Transfermarkt).
Despite the club’s struggles at the beginning of the season, the South Korea international has enjoyed a good start to the 2019/2020 season, scoring three goals and assisting a further three in his 1o appearances in all competitions.
After his nomination for the Ballon d’Or, fans were thrilled for the attacker after his contribution in 2019 as they took to Twitter to react.
