Tottenham managed to grab a late winner against Wolves to secure a 2-1 win, and fans appear pleased despite the close call. Jose Mourinho has now won four out of five Premier League games since taking charge, and it seems the fans are really warming to him.
Both pundits and fans alike were disappointed with the way that Mauricio Pochettino was sacked by Spurs and then quickly replaced by Mourinho. However, his team have now scored 19 goals in seven games across all competitions and that’s the sort of attacking form needed to win supporters over. It’s also helped that fan-favourite Dele Alli has sprung back to life under the new boss, scoring four and assisting three since he took charge.
Proof of Jose’s popularity was clear to see when Daily Hotspur posted a video of the manager’s post-match comments. He complimented Wolves’ style of play and intensity while also pointing out how good his team were to take advantage of the tiredness in the game to claim the victory.
