The Englishman has enjoyed a sensational start to the season, and with many of his teammates firing, it’s clearly a good time to be a fan of the Lilywhites.
Indeed, his form has been so good that, according to the Gambling Times, a new deal could be on the cards for Kane – despite the fact that he only agreed his last long-term deal last season.
Obviously, it’s essential that Tottenham should look to keep Kane at the club, but the prospect of a new deal is dividing the fans in the Transfer Tavern.
On one hand, the Englishman certainly deserves a higher wage based on his form, and thus the side can’t risk making him unhappy by not rewarding him.
However, some fans think that not only does the prospect of a new deal set a precedent, but it also makes little financial sense for the club – given that Kane only signed fresh terms last year.
