West Ham United fans here in the Tavern are over the moon with their sides recent run of form, as David Moyes looks to become a fan favourite at the Olympic Stadium. Indeed, Moyes’ Hammers look to be redefined under his guidance, as they continue to climb away from the early-season relegation trouble.
They managed to secure their biggest Premier League win of the season on Saturday afternoon, as goals from Marko Arnautovic, Mark Noble and Manuel Lanzini (2) destroyed David Wagner’s Huddersfield Town.
Still, with Moyes not currently having the players he wants in the side, he’ll be looking to bolster their ranks this month, along with selling any unwanted talent at the club.
One player in particular who’s been far from unwanted is midfielder Pedro Obiang.
The 25-year-old has featured in 19 Premier League games for the Hammers, as a vital part of their midfield with two goals helping towards the cause.
However, in having a sublime season thus far, it reportedly has it’s implications. As Italian giants Fiorentina are interested in bringing the midfielder to Florence, according to reports in the Calcio Mercato.
Indeed, it’s a move that could spell trouble for a settled Hammers midfield, with them possibly losing one of their star players this transfer window.

Manuel Lanzini
The Argentine has been the West Ham’s standout player so far this season, as the creative spark in the attacking-third having accumulated 3 goals and 8 assists already this campaign.
West Ham’s midfield would struggle to produce without this man, as it’s a strikers delight to have Lanzini’s ability and presence providing for them in the side.
However, there’s always been some ongoing speculation with the Argentine since showing moments of brilliance this season. As Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are apparently lining him up as a Philippe Coutinho replacement, according to reports.
Andy Carroll
The 29-year-old has played a huge part in David Moyes’ positive results since he’s taken over the side, with two goals to his name so far this season.
As the target man for the Hammers, Andy Carroll has been sure to make his presence felt in the box as he often manages to create space for the likes of Manuel Lanzini and Marko Arnautovic to exploit.
With all the attention from the opposition defenders being based on the tall striker, he’s become an important part of Moyes’ game plan, and a player they certainly don’t want to lose.
However, things may be about to take a turn for the worse. As West Ham have begun to fear that Carroll will try to push a move through with Chelsea this window, according to reports.
