Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are more than ready for the season to end with things really fizzling out.
And, to be fair, things hardly got going this year anyway so for things to be coming to a halt already tells you how poor results really have been.
The players have not done much to write home about whilst the fans are still largely unhappy at the London Stadium and so things really do need to be sorted in the summer.
Indeed, many fans want David Gold and David Sullivan to put their hands in their pockets and buy some quality players in the transfer window whilst others would like the pair to just sell up.
Certainly, the latter was mentioned to Gold on Twitter but he was in no mood to entertain such a notion.
He responded emphatically, then, and many in turn replied to that on Twitter so, with that in mind, here’s the best of what was said:
We have no plans to sell the club. dg https://t.co/T0A7NeNbL9

— Joe (@OxfordsPocket) 22 March 2017
@davidgold show ambition then David, otherwise we might aswell of stayed at Upton Park …
— LloydConley (@Lloydconley1) 22 March 2017
@davidgold Are you planning to loan the club out with an option to buy?
— Craig Wood (@craigwood88) 23 March 2017
@davidgold @kaz7289 what’s more worrying with that reply is you don’t comment at all about sorting problems. You are destroying this club
