West Bromwich Albion suffered a surprising loss at the weekend as Wigan Athletic emerged triumphant in their clash at the Hawthorns.
The Baggies were beginning to stretch their legs again in the Sky Bet Championship with only Leeds United relatively close in terms of the league standings.
However, the loss to the Latics has seen Albion drawn back into the fight a bit and Leeds are just a point behind, whilst Fulham closed the gap to six points with their win over Preston.
Even so, as we head into March and the crucial period of the season, Albion remain in control of their destiny and look strong despite their loss against Paul Cook’s men.
