West Bromwich Albion slumped to a surprise 1-0 defeat at home to Stoke City last night as the title race took another intriguing twist in the Sky Bet Championship.
The Baggies and Leeds United have been the sides to beat so far this campaign but in recent weeks both have tripped over themselves and that has let the teams below them gain ground.
Indeed, what looked a two-way race for the title looks a lot more open now and both Leeds and West Brom fans are going to hope that their respective sides can get their act together again soon.
West Brom, then, have a cup distraction up next weekend but the result last night left a lot of fans concerned about what the league could end up going like in the coming weeks and months.
