The Sky Bet Championship is approaching the turn this weekend and it’s hard to believe that we’ll soon be embarking on the second half of the season.
It’s been another dramatic year in the Sky Bet Championship so far and two sides have been the cream of the crop up until this point.
In top spot, West Bromwich Albion and in second, just two points behind, it’s Leeds United. Both have a huge gap to the play-off paying positions and both, therefore, look strong favourites to return to the Premier League.
The title race between the two looks set to keep us entertained between now and the end of the campaign, though, and it seems like the Albion are going to be hard to stop.
Away from the senior side, meanwhile, the kids enjoyed some success last night as the U23 side beat Fulham with one starter catching the eye.
Rico Richards played after promotion from the U18 side, and fans are buzzing to see such a promising young talent making the step up at just 16 years of age:
Richards called up to the U23’s 👀👀
