A number of West Brom fans want to see Dara O’Shea being kept in the squad next season even if they are promoted to the Premier League.
Twitter channel @BaggiesHQ asked followers if they think the Irish defender should be kept at The Hawthorns in the top flight or sent on loan to gain more experience elsewhere, with many giving their firm backing to the youngster.

The 21-year-old had only played in one Championship match prior to 2020 but started nine league games in a row from the end of January until the season was halted in mid-March, carving out a place as Slaven Bilic’s go-to right-back. [via TransferMarkt]
O’Shea performed commendably during his run in the first XI, winning more aerial duels per game (5.3) than any of his team-mates and standing out as a tough tackler by winning 2.3 challenges per match (as per WhoScored). Despite only getting a run of games in the second half of the season, the Irishman had the second highest WhoScored performance average rating of Bilic’s entire squad.
