Plenty of West Brom fans have been reacting to an image posted by Filip Krovinovic on social media which was later shared by the club’s Twitter channel @WBA.
The Croatian midfielder took to his Instagram profile (@filipkrovinovic) yesterday to send birthday wishes to team-mate Matheus Pereira, who turned 24. The image shows the pair celebrating a goal, with the club’s Twitter admin wondering how much they miss one another during the current UK lockdown.

The duo are both on loan at The Hawthorns this season from the Portuguese top flight. Krovinovic, who is loaned from Benfica, has scored twice and set up four goals in 34 appearances for Slaven Bilic’s side, posting the squad’s fourth highest passing success rate with 85.2% (as per WhoScored).
Pereira, who is on loan from Sporting Lisbon, has excelled throughout the campaign with six goals and 16 assists in 34 appearances and has been by far the squad’s most creative presence, with 10 more assists than the next-highest creator of goals (as per TransferMarkt).
